  The hotel was beautiful, clean and most of the staff were helpful. They have a good restaurant, my only wish is that it had a wider variety for vegetarians. A tip though, the front desk has a smaller version of the actual menu, go to the restaurant to get a copy of the full menu to order from. Even their breakfasts are delicious. However the town around them has a small selection of restaurants and there are pizza places that will deliver to the hotel from Duncan. The room was very tidy and I loved the view, I will probably come back only probably not in the winter. We were treated to hearing Sea lions mating and we came smack dab in the middle of their three week season, but it makes for good pictures. They have a nice pool and hot tub, not very big but if the doors are open you can smell the ocean. The pool temperature is pleasantly warm and feels nice to swim in before bed. You will not be disappointed staying here.

  Beautiful scenery in Cowichan Bay but extremely dirty hotel rooms and very outdated. Pretty unfortunate when you have to use towels to clean the room you are given. This is no doubt a management problem and hopefully they read this and can better themselves. I would choose otherwise or call ahead and make sure your room is cleaned better if booking this property. Let them know about this review and hopefully it helps.

  Had a great thanksgiving there. Set in quaint Cowichan Bay. This hotel is nestled in a picturesque cove. The room view was amazing. Full kitchen allowed us to cook thanksgiving dinner. The beds were so comfortable. I even brought my dog. Wonderful experience

  Went for a birthday dinner here. Food was excellent, drinks were $4 during Happy Hour 2-5pm. Birthday person got a free chocolate cake with a candle.

  Stayed Christmas Day, not advised everything would be closed in Cowichan Bay and Duncan, BC. There. Was. Nowhere. To. Eat.
