  They really need to spruce up the place if they want to charge such high prices, the menus are disgusting.. They're dirty and falling apart which is literally the first thing you see.. Kind of off putting. The seats are uncomfortable, and our table was wobbly. Takes a while for any to acknowledge you at the door even though there's no one in there. The crab dip was good, and other peoples food looked good but I just think somewhere charging that much for food should probably put more effort into the experience.

  And we find out that they DEEPFRY their bacon here. They render it in fact, to use the technical term. Why advertise double smoked bacon if you are going to kill it in a deep fat fryer? They made bacon bits out if it. Hashbrowns are misadvertised. They are chunks of potatoes and also deep fried. They taste of bacon... I wonder why.

  The view, is the best in Cowichan Bay. The service is also quite good. My breakfast of Eggs Benedict was quite nice. My wife ordered the standard two eggs and bacon... double smoked the menu said!

  tl/dr: Stunning view. Very good, friendly service. Lazy cook cuts corners and ruins breakfast ingredients. Poo.
